Quite possibly the incarnation of “cool”: Bardot, named after the sex icon herself, is arguably one of the best live music venues in the US. Drawing inspiration from Weimar-era Berlin and London’s ’60s rock venues, you’ll listen to some of the coolest tunes while mingling with movers and shakers in the scene. The gorgeous female bartenders remind of “Coyote Ugly”, but the space here is subdued and unpretentious. Think the living room of a smart bachelor pad in Brooklyn—pool table included.
