Local before arrival
The recently renovated Atlantic has been writing grand hotel history since 1909. The numerous rooms, suites, and lounges provided suitable sleeping and entertainment places for the luxury passengers of the Hamburg-America Line in the initial years. Today, the Atlantic is the topic of conversation with prominent guests, like permanent resident Udo Lindenberg, whose “Likörellen” paintings decorate the hotel walls.
