Local before arrival
Located in the heart of District 4, the gravel expanse in front of the Xenix Bar gives off a whiff of Provence. On balmy summer nights, men play boules, and women chat while sipping wine spritzers whose price, unlike in other trendy Zurich bars, is actually reasonable. Every Saturday, scenesters from the whole city put their wares on sale at the flea market. In the Xenix movie theatre, right next to the bar, there are twice-monthly film programmes dedicated to a theme or a country, an actor or a director.
