Local before arrival
Stadtpark Vienna is located flush against Ringstraße, which places it at the heart of the city. Since its opening in 1862, the park that recalls the style of English gardens draws countless visitors to its generous green areas and waters such as the river Wien. In the tradition of Johann Strauss, who gave his concert debut here in 1868, music events regularly take place at the Kursalon, a magnificent building constructed in the style of the Italian Renaissance.
