Local before arrival
The first time you stand on the bank of the Schwedlersee, you may not believe your eyes: You don’t often see a little gem like this in the midst of an industrial area. The lake has been the summer home of the Erster Frankfurt Schwimmclub (founded in 1891) since 1921. Unfortunately, only members can swim here. However, to enjoy hot grilled specialties and cool beverages at the summer restaurant you only need to do one thing: simply find your way there.
