Local before arrival
Two exiled Friesians have taken on Frankfurt’s bar culture and launched a campaign for comfortable atmosphere, handmade rock music—and orderly soccer broadcasts. The overall effect is decidedly retro, with old sofas, patterned wallpaper, deer antlers, floor lamps, and a large ship’s bell that signals the last call for drinks. Beer from Northern Germany, Friesian tequila, and a casual atmosphere make this bar a happening place for socializing. Opens at 3 pm on Saturdays if Norther Germany’s Bundesliga Clubs Werder Bremen or HSV are playing!
