At Emma, opened in 2010 in the otherwise expensive Eixample district, Madrid designer Tomás Alía, also known for his night club designs, introduced sweeping lines and vibrant color and lighting effects. The 56 futuristically styled rooms make guests feel like they’ve been transported to another galaxy.
