VALENTIN-KARLSTADT-MUSÄUM
PHOTOS MAPS

This wonderful museum is dedicated to one of Munich’s most brilliant sons and his stage partner of many years, Liesl Karlstadt. The career of multimedia satirist, cabaret artist, and actor Karl Valentin is played out in the towers of the Isartor. During Valentin’s lifetime Bertolt Brecht, Kurt Tucholsky, and Thomas Mann were fans of his acerbic humor. Don’t miss the turret room on the 3rd floor, done up in turn-of-the-century style!
