RIVER PROMENADE
PHOTOS MAPS

The banks of the Scheldt river is the perfect spot for a daytrip with the kids. The Het Steen castle on the northern bank served as a prison in the Middle Ages and is now a museum geared towards six-to-twelve year olds, with a focus on art, science and philosophy. 500 metres southwards, right on the waterfront, is the Zuiderterras, where the parents can meet up for a fantastic champagne brunch at the weekend. The panoramic views and spot in the sun are included.
