Local before arrival
Pizza East started out as a hip Italian pizzeria in trendy Shoreditch, housed in the old Tea Building on Shoreditch High Street. Since then it’s expanded to Kentish Town and Portobello Road, but, thankfully, each of these outposts manages to retain all the charm of the original. The pizzas are sublime and the industrial, pared-back fit-outs of all the restaurants are worth a visit in themselves. But be warned – their pizzas are highly addictive and seriously tasty.
