Rumor has it that even Picasso has been here—in one of the former painter’s studios, some of which are now being used by Margutta 54. The six generously sized suites (409 to 904 square feet) are located in a private courtyard and convey a homey atmosphere. In the mornings, hotel wait staff deliver a small Italian breakfast to the rooms of guests who are not eating on the roof terrace of nearby Babuino 181; in the evenings, guests fend for themselves.
