Local before arrival
The pearl of the West End: despite the gold walls, Josefa comes across as unpretentious and just shamelessly likeable. It’s Grit Idler and Judith Ramoser’s fault, running the little place with abundant energy and passion and giving you the feeling you’re at home with them—that’s exactly how the tasty and reasonably priced lunch dishes taste. The evening concerts and readings take place in a charming salon atmosphere, complete with great cocktails.
