Need some time away from the city? This 2,500-acre park near Amsterdam’s southernmost border is known as the perfect place to jog, hike, cycle and swim. There are even international rowing competitions which take place on the Bosbaan, a regatta course. The first tree was planted in 1934 – since then restaurants, quaint cafés, playgrounds and even an open-air stage have popped up.
