Swiss-born Lorenz Helbling has been an established authority on China for more than thirty years. He opened the ShanghART gallery in 1996—before Shanghai had much of an art scene. Helbling represents the biggest names in contemporary Chinese art and thanks to his keen eye and tenacity has become one of the country’s most distinguished art dealers.
