In summer once the Schiersteiner Harbor Festival takes place it can be very crowded. But even on sunny weekends, the place is always popular. However, the promenade planted with poplar always invites to a relaxed walk with beatiful viewpoints. Also perfect to take some breaks in one of the restaurants - such as in the traditional Rheinhalle - and cafes or just enjoying a waffle with ice cream. Where in the past fishermen used to bring their fresh catch ashore, today there is a vast harbor for sailing and motor yachts. If you have soem extra time left, from this point you could also start to a boat trip to the Rhine river.
