The table lamp from Wilhelm Wagenfeld welcomes guests from a distance. Located kitty-corner from the Goethe House, Riz occupies a space where maps from all over the world once used to be sold. Movers and shakers and guests of this stylistically confident wine restaurant have been coming here since 2004 to pay homage to European food and wine. Timeless, understated, and wonderful: Riz is Frankfurt’s little secret. It’s worth visiting just for the bread, oil, and salt alone. Reservations recommended.
