Dusseldorf’s variety of restaurants with Far Eastern cuisine is renowned far beyond the city’s borders. Sometimes, it can happen that a Korean restaurant moves into the rooms of a rustic beer bar. The former tax offices, still recognizable by the lettering on the façade, serve today as a popular address for authentic Korean street food. Parts of the wood paneling have given way to a rough brick wall, labels with foreign characters are now emblazoned on beer bottles—but the most important things have definitely remained: a unique atmosphere and cold beer served alongside food.
