Local before arrival
Breakfast, lunch, dinner—there’s really no reason you cannot spend the entire day here. Kick off the day with a coffee and some fresh pancakes with fruit on the terrace. For lunch, the sauerkraut burger is a popular choice, and the pike perch fillet with Café de Paris sauce is a must for dinner. The owners wanted to do things a bit differently here, without too many frills. But tasting the white- truffle bulgur risotto with steak shows that “without frills” is far too humble. Primarily organic ingredients from trusted purveyors are employed in all of the dishes—which you can certainly taste. The drink menu boasts over 30 bottles of wine by the glass. Order a glass of the “Unplugged” riesling on a warm summer night.
