Occupying Fleet Street’s famed Reuters/AP Building, designed by Edwin Lutyens in the ’30s, Terence Conran’s restaurant deserves all the good press it’s been getting. As you’d expect, the surroundings are suitably stylish, and the food every bit as top-notch as you’d want it to be. There’s a sizable bar with charcuterie counter, as well as a 130-seat restaurant, four private dining rooms and a member’s club. We’re guessing many a power lunch has graced these premises – and what a great spot to have one.
