The most important piece of architecture associated with the illustrious trunk-maker is without a doubt his boutique on the Champs-Élysées designed by Eric Carlson. With a surface of 20,000 sq. ft., it is the world’s largest luxury boutique, remarkable for having been designed without distinct levels, following rather an architectural plan of multi-levelled spiral terraces which lead up to a 66 ft. high atrium. This interior setting, finished to perfection, bears the signature of Peter Marino.
