Tyler Hays’ favorite materials are leather and wood, stone and metal. The furniture designer moved his workshop from New York to Philadelphia, but visitors to his bright, airy SoHo showroom can still admire his designs—tables, chairs, chests of drawers, and sofas. They look like they’ve been made to last forever, regardless of trends. Luxurious, full of character, and not too perfect, they exude unique warmth.
