Local before arrival
Founded in 2002 by Francesca Habsburg, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary Organization sponsors the production of contemporary art. Since May 2012, their collaboration with Belvedere takes place in the Augartenpark, which houses the open air pavilion designed by British architect David Adjaye, among other things. A diverse program of events accompanies the ever-changing exhibits, like the supper club evenings in the attached café restaurant. Oh, and by the way, entrance is free.
