Cédric Munier

Paris

Cédric Munier comes from a family of doctors and passionate chefs. As a child, he peered over the shoulders of his grandmother and, later, his father as they cooked. This gave him his great love of cooking, which became a fixed part of his life and career. Today, the 39 year old is the owner of Le Dôme du Marais, a gem in the heart of Paris. His philosophy of life shows itself in his love of high-quality food, as well as showing a connection between his respect for nature and sustainability.

For Cédric, the topic of sustainability isn’t just for his kitchen, but rather forms the basis of his entire lifestyle: to build a better awareness of our planet. This makes the eScooter a perfect alternative to driving through thick traffic in the streets of Paris.

Get away from it all, read the paper, and enjoy a cup of coffee—that’s what Cédric has in mind with his Café des Musées. A neighbor to Le Dôme du Marais, it’s cozily nestled between the Picasso-Museum and the Musée Carnavalet in the district of Marais. The Michelin guide recommends the Café des Musées as an example of a classic Parisian bistro with hearty homemade French cuisine.

The impressive staircase to the Jardin du Trocadéro is a meeting point with an impressive view of the Eiffel Tower and the green space of the Champ de Mars. This was an important site for many events of Parisian history.

Cédric doesn't have one himself, but he enjoys going to Chez Moustache. Here, authentic delicacies made of seasonal ingredients are served. The four restaurant owners have long been a part of Cedric’s friend circle.
