Alessandro Mansueti

Alessandro has lived and worked in Milan for over 20 years. The fashion capital has clearly got style, with its chic nightclubs, world famous opera houses, and impressive cathedral. The capital of Lombardy is the country’s stronghold for banks and media. Connoisseur and bank director Alessandro, who grew up in the nearby small city of Cremona, lives the dolce vita, swears by Italian cooking, and enjoys golfing. For the 46 year old, success means, above all, that his sons are happy when he comes home.

Italy is the land of scooters. The Italian love for their two-wheeled steeds is legendary and no longer reserved for the classic Vespas of the ’50s. Nowhere is there a city without a parking lot filled with scooters, like in the above picture at Teatro alla Scala. Is it something about the Mediterranean weather, the thick, big-city traffic, or the small, winding alleyways?

A pit stop in Luini. In the traditional bakery near the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Alessandro enjoys a house specialty: panzerotti, small Apulian pastries, made fresh to order following a jealously guarded, secret family recipe.

Alessandro discovered golfing many years ago as he was vacationing in the USA. He’s been ardently training since then. The thing that fascinates him about the sport is that it’s all a competition against yourself, not against others.

Alessandro whiles away hot days in Ceresio 7, enjoying a cool drink the rooftop terrace high above the city, away from the busy streets. At this brand new gourmet temple, you can even dip your toes in one of the two rooftop pools while enjoying the view—or maybe even dive right in.
