Local before arrival
New blocks of flats were to be built but the residents wanted a park instead. Therefore, at the end of the 1990s, a planning container was set up where everyone could draw, knead or write their desires for the open space. In 2005 the community structure was enthroned on the river Elbe. High metal palm trees bath the sunset at the harbour in an exotic atmosphere. The wavy lawns are perfect for lying down and reading, and there is even a drinks kiosk.
