Nom Wah is a traditional Cantonese tea parlor serving dim sum and pastries. The vintage atmosphere, lightly refurbished by the newest successor to the family business, retains its unequivocal charm after over 80 years. Authenticity reigns: The celebrated dumplings, including egg rolls and steamed pork buns, are based on tried-and-true family recipes. Seemingly unbreakable mismatched cups have been serving the parlor’s immense tea selection since the 1950s. Even prices have managed to stay at a pre-millennial low.
