We urbanites don’t always have it easy. With all the buzz and excitement the city has to offer, places of respite are ofttimes hard to come by. That’s why we at COOL CITIES have teamed up with EyeEm to search for the best Urban Escape.
EyeEm is a community and marketplace for a new generation of photographers. With over 10 million users using the app to capture, enhance, share, and discover inspiring images. Under the rubric “Missions,” app users can upload their own private getaway. Be it a jog along the river, kicking back on your balcony, dancing the night away, or reading in the park—your Urban Escape is somewhere personal. How can you take part? Download the EyeEm app and tag a photo with Urban Escape. Your photo will automatically be added to the album.
The top three photographers will win a copy of either Hasselblad “Masters” or Thomas Hoepker’s “Wanderlust,” courtesy of teNeues Publishing. Each of these stunning visual books have a retail value of €80 and are the perfect addition to any aspiring photographer’s collection. The top photographs will also be featured on the COOL CITIES app and website in an exclusive feature.
