The Museum of Arts and Design has served as an internationally acclaimed resource center dedicated for nearly half a century to the collection, exhibition and preservation of contemporary craft. Designed by architect Brad Cloepfil, the new building at the revived Columbus Circle is a work of art on its own. Clad with custom-made tiles, this twelve-story building has over 54,000 sq. ft. of space for exhibitions and educational programs, including a restaurant with views over Central Park and a 150-seat theater.
