MUSEUM ANGEWANDTE KUNST FRANKFURT
PHOTOS MAPS

For architecture lovers the amazement might already begin in front of the door. In 1985 the museum complex was expanded at the waterside of the Main by the renowned New York architect Richard Meier. Located in the former private villa of the banker family Metzler, artful exhibits from the regions of Europe and Asia can be seen. Furniture, metal and goldsmith artwork, glass, ceramic and book, and graphic pieces ranging from the middle ages to the modern era make up this international collection.
