Local before arrival
If you want to see all of Brazil’s fruits and fish in one location, this market is the place to visit. The building was erected in 1926 by Francisco de Paula Ramos de Azevedo and is one of the few from that era still in use today. Noteworthy are the windows of the Russian artist Conrado Sorgenicht Filho, who also helped decorate São Paulo Cathedral and over 300 other churches in the country.
