LONDON AQUATICS CENTRE
PHOTOS MAPS

Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, the London Aquatics Centre is positioned on the southeastern edge of Olympic Park, opposite the Olympic Stadium on the opposite bank of the Waterworks River. Inspired by “the geometry of water in motion,” the roof sweeps from the ground like a wave, marrying perfectly with its water-orientated use. During the Games it has seated 17,500 people.
