Local before arrival
This hodgepodge of antiques, bric-a-brac, exquisite carpets, and lamps—now numbering nearly 4,000—is a hotel that has grown organically over the years. Owner Mike Albayrak used to be a carpet dealer. He has collected the treasures furnishing the interior from all over the country and throughout the Middle East. He lives at Kybele and maintains a close relationship with his guests. The old wooden house is located in the heart of the historic peninsula; many of the sights are within easy walking distance.
