Singapore entrepreneur Yenn Wong opened her hotel in 2007, right in the heart of the city’s vibrant business district. She named it Jia, which means home or family. The boutique hotel combines the comforts of home with the exotic ambience of a wonderland. Distinctive cuckoo clocks, unusual bird cages, and extraordinary sculptures decorate the lobby. The 45 individually designed rooms feature contemporary style and modern art. In the hotel restaurant, Issimo, diners can rest and recharge their batteries while enjoying a rustic Italian meal.
