The Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) was founded in 1947 to be an interdisciplinary arts platform. From then until the present day it has been showing exhibitions including Nought to Sixty (2008), and Bloomberg New Contemporaries (2010), which have showcased the most experimental and radical of British and international contemporary artists. This cultural institution, located at the far end of the Mall leading up to Buckingham Palace, contains two galleries, a theatre, two cinemas, a book shop, a cafe and a bar.
