Housing Works has been committed to aiding those affected by HIV/AIDS for over 20 years. The Bookstore Café has established itself as an institution in the city – a popular meeting place for locals and tourists alike. Visitors come together to browse the large selection of books, movies, and music, all of which coming from donors. Most of the staff here works on a volunteer basis, and 100 percent of the profits go to Housing Works to aid in their charitable works.
