Local before arrival
There’s no air of formal-speak here, even if the restaurant in the museum-like Deichtorhallen is surrounded by expensive art. Here, the guest must accept the casual form of address and talk by the waitstaff. Things in the open kitchen, in contrast, are anything but casual, because the youthful team creates internationally inspired meals at the level of a posh gourmet temple. And if anyone has a special culinary desire, it will be fulfilled without a grumble.
