Local before arrival
The times when artists and hippies took over the streets surrounding Dageraadplats are long gone. Today, this bustling square is popular with young families residing in the Art Nouveau buildings of the Zurenborg neighbourhood. After a stopover in one of the numerous cafés lining the streets, be sure to make a detour to Cogels Osylei and soak in its spectacular façade. Natural elements were employed in the construction, which is why some of the houses bear names like “Rose” or “Sunflower.”
