Local before arrival
Every Sunday Columbia Road is literally transformed as scores of flower sellers arrive to set up their stalls. Thousands of blooms give the air a heady scent, and the colours are truly a wonderful sight to behold. Since the beginning of last century, this market has become a tradition in the East End. Lining the street is a diverse selection of independent stores selling everything from antiques and vintage clothes to French cheeses and Italian meats.
