CLAUDIA SKODA MEN
PHOTOS MAPS

In the wild West Berlin era, Claudia Skoda wanted extravagant clothing that at the time could only be found in Amsterdam and London. So she began to knit, and before long she was knitting stylish garments for herself as well as for others. Martin Kippenberger, who lived in the same shared apartment, created the famous photo catwalk for her in 1976. Today, luminous green walls set the stage for the famous knitwear designer’s collection of avant-garde menswear made of fine yarn. The store for womenswear is within walking distance.
