A store selling formal dresses from Great Britain? Not quite, as it is rather hard to envisage Prince Charles in pink corduroys. According to the founder, Christoph Tophinke, the store’s success is due to its denial of all trends and the rules of the classical textile trade. Cuts, tuxedos, covert coats, Chelsea boots, knitted neckties, cuff links, and pocket flasks make up the sales mix. The materials are often unusual, but always stylish.
