Local before arrival
This outpatient health center was designed by architectural firm BAAS and opened in the fall of 2010. With its newly built square, it shapes a new urban space in the middle of a densely built-up area. A white horizontal section with a lattice structure on the front façade rests partially on a black cube which forms the ground level, and partially on an expressive pillar. The transparent ceramic lattice shields the building from the intense sunlight.
