Local before arrival
Grüezi! Every Tuesday and Friday morning, the Bürkliplatz transforms itself into a colourful and lively market. Under the chestnut trees, between the banks and Lake Zurich, local merchants sell fresh vegetables, fruit, flowers and organic meat. With about 80 different vendors, every gourmet will find something he or she is looking for. The market is most enjoyable in the spring: that’s when the chestnuts flower, giving off a southern flair.
